Sidmouth is just 20 km from the cathedral city of Exeter and within easy reach of Dartmoor, the charming coastal town of Lyme Regis, and the historic cities of Bristol, Bath and Plymouth. London is reachable in just over 2 hours by train, making it easy to combine learning with sightseeing.

7. Unlike many other language schools, SIS proudly offers a dedicated social room for Teenage and Young Adult students to use for FREE! This building has FREE Wi-Fi and features pool tables, table tennis, darts, table football, arts & crafts and so much more!​​​

8. Getting to and from Sidmouth with us is easy, safe, and stress-free! Every Saturday, we run a DISCOUNTED travel assistance service between London Heathrow and Sidmouth (about 3.5 hours each way). 10. Sidmouth is in one of the warmest parts of the country, with relatively good weather (for England!). We don’t usually experience freezing temperatures in winter, with an average ranging between 4°C and 8°C. Summer temperatures are often a comfortable 20-25°C, and the sea temperature can reach up to 17°C.​​​
