At Sidmouth International School, Safeguarding is a top priority. We want every student to feel safe, supported, and listened to during their time with us. If you ever have a concern or just need someone to talk to, our trained staff are here to help.

 

These are:

Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) Level 3
There are two managers who are trained to deal with safeguarding matters and who can make any important decisions.

 

Simon Blyth – Safeguarding & Compliance Officer + Head of Transport
Wendy Moores – Academic Manager + Young Learner course director

 

Designated Safeguarding persons (DSPs) Level 2
There are also other members of staff who have been trained and will be available to listen and answer any questions or concerns students may have.

Brendan White – Social Activities Organiser & Admin Assistant

Sian Harkett - Accommodation & Student Services Officer 
Christine Grahame – Junior/Tween Co-ordinator & Teacher

Please note, all our staff have completed at least basic safeguarding training through the British Council’s website.
