Courses for Overseas Teachers of English

Sidmouth I nternational School is an active teacher training centre and offers developmental courses for native-speaker and non-native-speaker teachers of English.

Courses for closed groups of teachers

We can design special courses for closed groups of teachers at
any time throughout the year.

Courses include language development, methodology, materials, etc. Courses for one, two or three weeks, mornings only (20 sessions per week) or full day (30 sessions). Sessions include lectures, workshops and seminars.

Course fee from £280 per week including tuition, homestay accommodation, social programme & escorted transfers from point of arrival.

Courses for individual teachers of English

We offer courses for individual teachers of English all year round. Minimum one week. Language and/or methodology development courses designed to meet the specific needs of teachers.

• Courses for qualified and experienced teachers of English
• Courses for teachers still training
• Language development in mixed-nationality groups, 15 hours
  per week.
• Specialist ELT sessions 6 hours per week.
• Class observations and follow-up discussions can be arranged.
• Total 21 hours per week.
• Course fee per week: £230
• Summer Supplement (June, July, August): add £50 per week
